Frequently Asked Questions

How far will you travel?

For portrait sessions, I will travel up to a one hour (approximately 30 to 40 mile) round-trip from the Wilmington, Delaware area at the advertised price. Anything above this can be negotiated based on the required distrance and the amount of photographs desired.

For weddings, I will travel up to a three hour (approximately 90 to 150 mile) round-trip from the Wilmington, Delaware area at the advertised price. Anything above this can be negotiated based on the required distrance and package desired. Lodging costs may be required if it is deemed necessary for an extended travel and long photo shoot.

How do I get to your studio?

I do not photograph in a studio. I have portable equipment, including backdrops, lighting systems, and tripods. I travel to you for your convenience. I have kids, and I can emphasize on the frustration of getting the kids up, dressed, and into the car to go to the studio, with them being 'so excited' to go. So whether this is traveling to your home, or to a location of your preference, I will take pictures wherever you feel happy and comfortable.

What if I want something different than your offered packages?

My goal is to do whatever it takes to make my clients happy. Crystal March Photography is run by the underlying fact that "the customer is always right" (for the majority, of course). If you would like something different than what is offered, just ask. I can customize anything to meet any clients satisfaction, and will be more than happy to do so.

Are the photographs in your portfolio for sale?

Yes. You may purchase a license to use any photograph on my site. Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing a photograph by using the contact form on the 'Contact Me' page. Please provide your intended use and I will let you know the price for that license. You may use that photograph only for the purposes contained within the license purchased.

If you have a blog or other non-commercial purpose for wanting to use my photos, I would be happy to allow you to use them for free, but with my permission. All I require is credit for my work. Credit could be in the form of having my watermark on the bottom corner of the photograph (not interrupting the photograph), or having my name or link to my site accompany a non-watermarked photo. You still may not sell, exchange, or profit off of my photographs, per the terms mentioned here. Using my photographs in a way not permitted by me will be considered copyright infringement and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Why do I have to use PayPal to make online purchases?

We place a lot of emphasis on privacy and security. While we do everything we can to make our site secure, we do not have the financial resources that a company that a billion dollar company like PayPal has to invest in security. When you make any type of purchase using a credit or debit card, you expose yourself to the risk of identity theft. You assume that the company you are doing business with has taken your best interest to heart and has taken the precautions to protect you, the consumer. However, you do not know for sure that this is the case. While you may trust that company to provide whatever service, are you sure you want to trust them with your financial information? We would rather leave this up to a company that specializes in this. PayPal is a highly trusted and well known global company, and by going through PayPal, we never see any of your financial information.
